Discover how to create your own star, heart and flower shaped murrini canes in a glass fusing kiln, while retaining control over the internal design. Use clay or silkemat to create moulds you can use again and again, for all the designs you can imagine. Then use these skills to create moulds for other shapes you can imagine!

Only want small canes? Try this new technique of creating intricate designs while retaining a 1cm diameter in the cane.

There is so much you can do with with murrini, from casting to tack fusing to jewellery making - all of which we’ll explore techniques and firing guides for on this course.

This is an intermediate course, basic fusing knowledge is essential. You will need access to a regular glass kiln.

This course is demonstration based, you don’t need to buy any materials ahead of the course. Rather, you can gain all of the information from the course and decide what you would like to try afterwards.

The course will be interactive and limited to ten students to ensure you have time to ask any questions you have and there will be opportunities for discussion throughout. The course will be hosted on Zoom. Maximum 10 students per session.
